A Great Day

Thank you everybody for helping me out during my last Journal Entry. I knew I could count on my friends and you did not let me down and for that I Thank You. When I thought I was all alone you proved I wasn't.

So a little update, so far no one has done anything. I have hope because of these people not talking to me but they did talk to my brother visiting from out of State. Now why some of the things I heard people could not come to me I don't understand but have learned some things. Good enough to raise my spirits for now.

So in keeping with trying to be a nice person I hired the person who cuts my yard Girlfriend to plant a little garden around our Dogwood Tree. It had been hit too many times by lawnmowers over the years. I let her pick out the flowers and plant them however she wanted. The leftover ones were made into a Mother's Day gift for her mom. It rained enough that she did not have to come and water the last few weeks, unfortunately it has been extremely hot this last week. So with broken hand (healing nicely according to my Dr.) I pulled the hose towards the tree only to find the hose short  by three inches. So with thumb over the hose I water the flowers only to find that not enough soil had been used for planting. I could still make out the little squares the flowers had come in. "Oh well I thought I'll just get another bag of soil when I go out.

This Thursday my new neighbor after seeing what had happened offered me the dirt he was using for his own flowers and vegetables and all the mulch I wanted. I of course said okay and would take anything who could send my way. This person was nice enough in the Winter time to make sure people could get to my house by plowing the walk every time it snowed. We barely had a chance to even meet before the bad weather set in, so I found it so refreshing having a neighbor I could talk to now. What you cannot imagine is the look on my face as he and his son brought over dirt for my flowers and then proceeded to add more dirt to some of my bushes as well.

I informed him that if he had too many flowers that he could plant some along our fence. I figured that way mom could see some fresh flowers and he could reap the benefit of some extra room. He tilled a nice sized area of my backyard saying it would look a lot better (if I did not mind) to plant some flowers in that area considering nothing else was growing their and it end perfectly with the path I nodded in agreement. Now I do not mind if one flower gets planted I am just happy to have this neighbor. Some of my Dad's flowers are still growing so I told my new friend that he could pick any flower he wants without asking. He said the same goes for me and I just smiled and agreed. I cannot wait til he sees my Dad's Irises they are absolutely beautiful and he will get at least one for all he has done for me.

Once again I thank everyone for there kind words and deeds, I knew I was alone it was just loneliness.
